Dafne Romero
Dafne Romero is a Mexican Canadian transgender filmmaker, scientist, and writer born in Mexico City. At the age of 19 he migrated to Montreal. He has been a freelance filmmaker for 25 years. Dafne has worked as producer, director, photographer, editor, curator in various organizations and universities across Canada. He has published poetry and is currently working on his first fiction film script. Dafne is an active citizen scientist. He is the owner of NPK Wild Foods Inc. a Kelp company founded in 2009 where he harvests and develops kelp products for human consumption, bio stimulants for agriculture as he does research for kelp restoration. He is an active scuba diver, sailor, wild forager and loves tree climbing.
